In their final semester of the UW Health and Wellness Management BS program, students are required to take HWM 494, the capstone fieldwork course. A student collaborates with the course instructor, a site supervisor, and other staff members as needed to design and complete a field experience project at a work site. A primary goal of the 150-hour capstone is to help the student gain hands-on work experience applicable to the health and wellness industry and add value to the host site. Below is an archive of past capstone projects to give you an idea of the types of opportunities available to our students. Coming soon…UW HWM Master’s student’s capstone projects.
