All UW Health and Wellness Management students are required to complete a project to earn the degree. Bachelor’s students will complete a fieldwork experience and master’s students will complete a capstone project. Projects are designed in collaboration with the course instructor, a site supervisor, and other staff members, as needed, in advance of the semester in which they take place. Students apply skills and knowledge learned through program coursework leading to a cohesive experience that builds confidence and demonstrates a thorough understanding of health and wellness management. For more details, please see Field Experience Requirement for BS and Capstone Tips for MS. Below are examples of projects Health and Wellness Management students have completed.
