Bachelor of Science | 21 Courses | 61 Credits
The Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Management is a 61-credit bachelor’s degree completion program. Students with an associate degree or approximately 60 credits of transferable college credit are eligible to apply. You will learn core wellness program management skills including health literacy, population health, program planning and evaluation, employee benefit design, organizational change management, and communication strategies. As a graduate, you’ll be confident in your ability to manage comprehensive well-being programs that foster healthier lifestyles and promote the value of staying well.
Master of Science | 12 Courses | 36 Credits
The Master of Science in Health and Wellness Management is a 36-credit master’s degree program designed for adult students who are interested in advancing their career in wellness program management and require the flexibility an online program offers. Students with a bachelor’s degree, in any discipline, are eligible to apply. As a graduate, you’ll be qualified for leadership roles in workplace wellness such as wellness program director, chief wellness officer, and more.
UW Health and Wellness Management bachelor’s and master’s degree programs are a partnership of UW Extended Campus and these University of Wisconsin campuses.
When you apply, you will need to choose a home campus. Your home campus is the institution from which you will receive financial aid, advising, career services, and your diploma.
Your choice of home campus is a matter of personal preference. Our campus partners share equal responsibility in the program, and you will take courses taught by faculty from all respective program partner campuses. As a student you will complete your degree or certificate entirely online. Your educational experience will be the same regardless of your campus choice, and your degree and transcripts will be identical to those earned by on-campus students.
